Okay...I can do this. Although I've never been as successful with aircraft models as with armour and soft-skins, I'd love to give it another go and I have the perfect model to use too...but you've gotta come up with a nifty badge design before I commitSmile,Wink, & Grin [swg]

Checked my models stash late last night and the plane kit I have is an Academy 1/48 scale Supermarine Spitfire Mk XIVc. Then I checked my references only to find that that airplane didn't come into production until January of '44. So, although it wasn't involved in the Battle of Britain, it was in combat on the Continent.

I also found that I have the PE detail kit (including flaps) and the Engine's and Things Griffon engine it used...heh...funny how it's easy to lose track of these things.

As Tanky said, there just was a BoB 2005 GB but it ended on May 31. I suppose you could do one strictly of the ETO Aircraft (which technically would include the BoB). There is also a Battle for Germany GB starting at the end of the year (all tanks and planes from the fighting in 1945 to VE day May 6).

I say keep it open as there are lots of modelers coming and going and many may have wanted to do the BoB GB from the spring but couldn't. Good luck
