Photo GB !!! Start: NOW - End: ...
Posted by Anonymous on Tuesday, August 30, 2005 2:54 PM
Hi guys,

I was thinking about this GB for a long time. We are all modelers and members on this forums. Some of use get real friendships over here.
We speak to eachother, lauch together, and give advice. But most of us will never meet eachother. And most of the time we don't even know how the person on the other side looks like...
So we could make things easier.

In this GB you can post a pic of yourself with something that reminds you about why we are all here on this forum. That's right ! Modeling !!!

So, the "rules" for this GB are:

1) Post a pic of yourself
2) YOU must be visible.
3) And also something related to modeling must also be visible in the picture.
4) That "model thing" can be your favorite model, your favorite kit box, you with your models, you in your model room, etc...
5) And.... Most important: HAVE FUN !!!

This is the badge:

As soon as you post a picture, you can pic up the badge, and become a proud member of the Photo GB !!!

Cheers,

Jürgen

hahaha, that's pretty hilarious comrade sergei.

When I was trying to build that scud carrier a while back, (7 years), I had some major fit problems. sux that it was one of the earlier pieces from DML. Maybe one day they will re-release with some new tooling.

Ha Ha, some has way too much time on their hands, Hey isn't it time for you to go back to school?

Here's mine, I'm holding a Typhoon mk 1B. I actually got the opportunity to talk to the pilot of the Typhoon I built! It was quite thrilling to talk to him about his time in WW2.

I am not the guy in my signature...thats Kees Meuws, formerly of the All Blacks and Auckland Blues now with Northampton Saints in England...I am the guy pulling the "Forrest Gump" with my eyes closed in the photo...I was fairly knackered at the end of that match...I will get a better photo together tonight...

Dan - I recognised it because it is a picture I took of my camera for my website.

I build about thirty 1/48 kits a year. I don't think I need to build more.
