Suggestion for a GB (armor)
Posted by Tigertankman on Wednesday, September 7, 2005 12:04 AM
Hey all, what if we did a Jagdpanther GB? I think it would be kinda cool to do one since I've never heard of any Jagdpanther GB's before, and I, like a few others, happen to like the jagdpantherBig Smile [:D]. We could narrow it down to a specific unit or a specific battle(IE, a specific camo job the tank was painted in at that time) So let me know what you think!

Here would be the guidelines:

1.Must be a Jagdpanther, any scale
2. Can be in service with any country
3. Can be affiliated with other builds
4. AM and PE are OK
5. Scratchbuilding is OK
6.( heres a new one) Must share info about the Jadgpanther to show what youve learned and to help out other modelers with their buildsBig Smile [:D]
I know Im forgeting some stuff

Time frame would probably be october or november to sometime in march or later

So tell me what you think!

What I think? I think that there are too many GBs and people who may want to do something wont because theres so many GBs.

I think it is a good idea but howabout next year.

there will always be a lot of GBs yg, and a lot are very broad, but a specific Jagdpanther one is a good one I think. Just as long as it starts in a couple of months and has a long build time

Yes, I was thinking of narrowing it down to a specific unit, or battle, would be pretty coolCool [8D] considering how people have been reactging to broad GBs, I think this would be a hit, because Ive noticed people want narrower GB's, not broad onesBig Smile [:D]

i think just having a Jagdpanther build is narrow enough
let it be early, mid or late
and any unit or kit

and there are loads of GBs but none on the jagdpanther

Yeah I guess it is unlike most of the other builds. ie narrow and not broad. Sorry for sounding kinda harsh. heck i might even join.

Why not just all jagdpanthers? I think that that is too narrow.

there was a tamiya 1/16th scale tiger build before, that was probably the narrowest you can get

Ok Im thinking we will do late then, since I guess no companies make a mid and few people want to convert

We will call it, the "Jagdpanther Late Production Group Build 2005-2006"

Good???

I need more ideas
