just an idea. group re-build
Posted by gregers on Wednesday, October 5, 2005 7:04 AM
i have just had what may be an oddball idea, i have just been tinkering with a rather old model, stripping it for spares, and thought, well, there are group builds, would a group re-build work?. don't know what form this could take but if it saves a few old treasures from hitting the spares box then so much the better. i have a few old models that would be better off re-built, a frog whitley for one, and a huey by Hasegawa i think. and quite a few more. what do you folks think?. is this workable?. would you like to take part?

all the best.

I have saved quite a few kits from my younger years and have been intending to redo several of them. A GB may provide the motivation needed to do it. Having said that my time is kind of tight with other GB. What kind of time frame are you thinking of?

Hiya Dave,
well, i was going to see what other folks have as far as kits and time frames are concerned before finalising things, and there will be some who are tied up with other group builds and comitments so i want to give folks time to get their other stuff out of the way, plus alot of us will have more that one do'er up'er in out collections that we may like to include so a nice long time frame would definitly be in order.

open to suggestions.
