Looking back at the rules I typed up, I didn't specify plane/tank/ship, so absolutely.

Actually, if you look at your initial post, you did only mention aircraft:

Anyway, if armor is OK, I'm done, too!

I will go ahead and buy the kits I need for making a 1/72 Tora Zero and have them on standby. Holding off on my 1/144 CASA until the start time if this build sparks enough interest.

ya know there were some armor guys in Odds and Ends discussing the tanks used in "Battle of the Bulge" and some other movies... was a thought about a possible group build included... maybe if you broadened it to vehicles (and ships) you could get a good crowd...

I'll have to wait for a bit before I could commit to anything... a lot going on at the casa this last month...

I was thinking starting at the new year, once Halloween hits it is non-stop extra curricular activities for a while.

  • Any type of kit(or mix of) of any scale straight from the box, or with every bit of AM parts available
  • Provide movie / TV title of subject model for members to get a preview of your project
  • Some frustration to be included, but a good excuse to relax and watch a movie / show comes with the project
  • Provide progress and pics of project throughout the build
  • Once complete, bragging rights of a movie star in your house is justified Cool [8D]

Propeller [8-]Just an idea for a build of aircraft of the silver screen. Aircraft from those movies and TV shows that featured aircraft that any young enthusiasts watched time and again. Not necassarily just models "painted up", but a little more in-depth. Came to me as I was about to start my 1/144 CASA using Minicraft's He-111 and Avro Lancaster(for the engines) in the markings seen in the movie "BATTLE OF BRITAIN or PATTON(My 1/48 CASA is almost ready to start building, just need a couple more detail parts, to be done as the CAF's former "He-111"). Or how about the "Hollywood" produced Zeros, Kates, and Vals from TORA, TORA, TORA(already in the process of acquiring the kits and parts for a CAF Tora "Zero" in 1/72). I know that would be a considerably more complicated projectBlack Eye [B)]. For simplicity "painted up" would work, such as modeling the Corsairs from Black Sheep Squadron (the mix of solid blue -1's, -4's, AU-1), or C-119 from FLIGHT OF THE PHOENIX, if not the Phoenix itself. Basically, not necassarily historically accurate, just Hollywood accurate. Of course the list could go on and on since aircraft have made appearances in movies and TV for nearly as long as those medias have been around. Any interest? Party [party]
