When will...

...group builds for 2006 be announced? Never took part in one before, but tis something I'd like to try in the coming year.

First off… welcome to the forum.

I was not part of this forum at the beginning of ’05 so I am not sure of there is anything like an official announcement.  There are many GB’s getting set up, or are already set to go… some even having started now and running over into next year.  My experience has been that if you find one that is going on now, or about to start, if you ask the mod to get in… well… nobody has been turned down yet.

Go down the list of threads and many will have the dates in the subject line.  If you see one that you are interested in that does not list the dates have a look at the 1st post on the 1st page and join the fun.

groupbuidls are started whenever by whoever wants. lots are still going on and you can still join some. New ones will come along when a new idea is sparked.

Thanks for the info folks. I was under the impression that there was a strict schedule. It's just the way I interpreted the group build thread on the armor forum.

For the most part, the schedule is determined by the person running the build. There are quite a few starting in January. Also, if one has just started or has a long deadline, ask if you can join.

Yep, just find a topic you like and see if the deadline's not too close. Ask to join and enjoy it! It's great fun! You'll invariably end up learning a lot.
