For some reason I thought this GB finished at the end of October (is that the BoB GB?). Anyway, I've sprayed the underside again, as it was looking a little ragged. Then, the dark green. I used an old Perkins tin, but nicely thinned, it seemed to be OK. First coat was, hmm, varied, so, on with a second coat, which looked great, and so matt, pity I needed to Future/Klear it. A few bits missed. Anyway, here is a new rule for modelling:
Make sure your hands are really really cleaned after eating southern style fried chicken. Yep, put a dirty paw mark on it. Luckily, it was an areas to be over painted brown, but, I realised I forgot to Future it before penciling on the camo marks. OK, well, I brewed up too much green, and decantered it in to an old Humbrol tin, so, let's spray again, and do it properly this time. Hmmm, half done, and looking good. Then, no paint. Yikes! OK, so, let's fiddle with the needle, and whoa! Paint! Except, paint, and something else...yes, there was a blockage, which is now a feature of one wing. Just hope it dries OK, then, coat it again... I took that air-spray apart, and found small bits in one tube. Now's it clean! However, I suspect that it might have been lumps of paint. Oh well, let's try again!
