Scott, What particular branch of the military would you be wanting to do? From the top of my head, the US Army planes that were there, were the A-20B, B-17C, D, E, B-18A, B, B-24A (just one of these there and it was destroyed), C-39A, C-40A, P-26A, B, P-35A, P-36A, D, P-40B, C, T-6C and AT-12 ( a version of the P-35, there were at least two there). There were also several observation types there including the O-47. I have one reference of there being a few P-43s there but can't confirm or deny this. The B-24 was staging through Hickam AB on a secret reconnaisance mission to spy on the Japanese activities around their opersting areas in the western Pacific. The P-26s & P-35s had been phased out of front line service, but a few were still around being used as squadron hacks. The P-36s were also being phased out in favor of the P-40s. There is also a possibility of there being a few B-25s at Hickam. The time frame is right and two of the Bomb Squadron (Light) were supposed to have started conversion to the type from B-18s in November, 1941, but I have two sources that say that that hadn't started yet at the time of the attack. I'll post a more comprehensive list next weekend (if Joe wants me too) after I check my lists at home. I'll even be able to list it by Type, Unit, Base. Same with the USN/USMC aviation assets.
