WWII Submarine GB 2006

Start Date:  March 1st, 2006

End Date:  June 1st, 2006

Rules:

1)All members are welcomed to join, but rude behavior and profane remarks and topics will get you kicked from the build.
2)Any kit, any scale, any model is welcomed.
3)Aftermarket and photo etch parts are allowed.
4)Models must remain unstarted until the start date, but research, buying AM and PE, and opening and looking at the kit are welcomed.
5)Have fun!

You may wear the badge throughout the build even if you have finished your project.  To join, just give the model you plan on working on.

Hm I will join this build never built a submarine. Dont know what I will build yet, I can tell you a U-Boat for sure just not which version. Better send a order of to Squadron and have my kit by the end of the week.

edit I picked out a Mirage kit 1/400 U-826 Type VIIC/T4 that will be my build. btw can we build more then one kit?

Thanks for adding me, I might build other U-Boat since I ordered a other one Mirage 1/400 U-673 Type VIIC/T2 also. Not sure yet seeing as I have a big GB list already, I will see after I build the first one. Just hope I get my order by Friday.

Looks like we will be the only two in this GB. Back to my kit got it Friday and built it today, and here are some pictures

Pretty easy kit only 27 parts, just had to watch on the plans were some stuff went. Also some parts needed some lining up, next up its time to paint the waterline.

Looks like you're doing a great job.  Nothing on my kit seems to fit together well, which is why I have little done.

Thanks! Yours looks good aswell. I think that Loinfish really old, I seem to recall it came out in the 60's I belive not sure. Got the water line painted on the U-Boat today Next up the top color.

Next up gloss coat, decal and dull coat and I am done.

Got the U-Boat done here are pics, No decals they fell apart on me right when they went in to water.
