Extreme Scrathbuilt GB
Posted by Anonymous on Thursday, August 3, 2006 12:53 AM

Hello everyone.  I was wondering if anyone wanted to take part in a scratchbuilt GB.  Because of the nature of the build, the rules are:

-Any subject

-From any time period

-Any scale (preferebly something small though)

-You can use any materials (cardboard, styrene, plastic, whatever)

-No aftermarket kits or parts

-No parts from an existing kit (sprue pieces are Okay)

-No dioramas, just an aircraft, or tank, or figure, ect...

BUT

There is a time limit

It can't be called extreme for nothing.  The GB will end on September 1st (saturday).

This GB isn't for you making something that is so well done that it belongs in a museum or something.  This GB is to see what we were capable of without even knowing we could do it.

So really, this GB is for anyone that wants to try scratch building for the first time, or if experienced scratchbuilders want to give it a go.

Hopefully this GB will break the ice and it'll open you up to more scratchbuilding at your own pace later.

So who's in?

Really sounds like a challenge, but I have to pass, because I'm sure I wouldn't finish for September 1st.

Nevertheless it's a great idea!
