I already built two Spitfires in the last year. But hey, why not? Sign me up. I have a Hasegawa Mk.IX in 1/72nd scale that I just found some good decals for. I'm building the "Fargo Express".  I can add it to my to do list.

Rudy, I do have a Spit Mk. Vb I just recently finished that I'd be happy to share. As long as you don't have a problem with it being already finished? (It hasn't been in any other GB's) Besides, I think your logo would look great next to that sharp looking "Size Matters" logo you have there, ha ha! Big Smile [:D]Thumbs Up [tup] Let me know what ya think...

I'm currently in the midst of building three ICM 1/48 Spitfires, a Mk IX and two Mk VII's. All of them are being done in RAAF 453 SQN colours in the UK using Red Roo decals. They are getting done for the Interceptor GB (well the 2 Mk VII are) but they are all Spitfires.

I have managed to get the three ICM kits to the stage of needing just the dark green camouflage on the Mk IX and a Mk VII, the other Mk VII is in the PRU/ lt grey cam scheme.

Rudy, I just checked on when I posted finished pics of my Spit, and it was way back in May of this year, so nevermind my earlier post. I guess time flies, huh? Anyway, here's the link to it if you want to take a look:

I've got a 1/48 Occidental SPitfire IX with Ron's Resin replacement nose, probably at a similar stage to Harvs, it's overall dark green awaiting it's ocean grey upper surface camo. It's also going to be a 453 Sqn RAAF Spitfire, I think Harvs and I share a common interest there.
So I'm in, cough  up the logo Rudy !
Cheers
Tony

I'm just taking it one GB at a time.

Ok I'll bite, what do I have to do in a group build? I'm a little new at this so point me to the rules. I have three spitefire's to choose from. Two in 1/48 scale one in 1/24 scale.

A group build is when modelers build a model to the specific guildlines, listed by the guys who starts it in the 1rst post. Normally, deadlines are imposed, but as there are enough GB out there, I never put a deadline on any of my GB's. Tell who makes your Spits, and what mark they are, and I'll have you listed.

Ok, rudy, I finally got another pic of my Tamiya Spit Mk Vb. I did this one mostly OOB except for a seat, exhausts, and B wing cannons from Ultracast. Finished with my usual MM enamels, Future, oil wash, and Microscale Satin. Thanks for letting me in...Big Smile [:D]Thumbs Up [tup]

Sorry I haven't got the badge on yet, I promise I'll do it soon. I just got a new computer and haven't played with the photo editing software yet.

Here are the Mk IX and one of the Mk VII after varnishing. They are about to have the decals applied. The second Mk VII has gone to get the paint job redone thanks to my fingerprints appearing under the varnish.

Hey Rudy,  Just seen the group build and was wondering if it's not too late to join in on this one. I have had a Revell 1/48 Mk11 ready to go and figured might as well do it in a GB. Let me know.

Hey Rudy,  still here and going strong. Been buisy with other projects at the same time but I was almost finished the Revell MKII so I continued with that and almost finished it. Also got started this weekend on the Spit Seafire III. It's an Airfix kit and boy what a beauty it is. Enough parts to make four versions and the new sprue is up to modern standards with nice recessed lines etc. Anyway here is where I am on this one.
