If you Flew in or on it, Sailed on it, Drove it or rode in it , maintained it lets build it. Simple rules for this gb.

 1. build what you used in the military.

 2. go as crazy as you want detailing the subject

3.can be stand alone or in a diorama

 4. start date 15sep06 finish 31mar07

 5. any scale

 6. the most important rule have fun, fun, fun! email me or just add a post and i will add you to the list of builders.

if anyone can design a badge that would be appreciated.

I would like to add an AMT B-52G, vintage about 1968, NMF with GAM-77 Hound Dogs.  This was the configuration of BUFFs at Beale AFB, CA, when I did SIOP nuclear strike mission planning for them.  I was assigned to the 9RTS doing mission planning for the SR-71 and did temporary duty at the 456 Bomb Wing during their SIOP revision.

The B-52 and me, we have grown old, gray and overweight together.

I'm not a veteran but I think that's a really cool idea for a group build and I thought I could try to make a badge.  You can use it or not or you can modify it as you whish, this is just a suggestion, I just enjoy making those.

Of course it is very difficult to represent every country or every war but this might be a start for a better one.

No matter where you go ....... there you are.

The only people who make a Sh'ot D are Legend, with a resin conversion for the Tamiya kit.  I'm going to try and pick up the set in November at the Nationals.  From what I understand, not such an easy thing to do, so, a good Christmas holiday project.

Iwakuni, Okinawa and Yeachon in Korea.Have a couple of aircraft choices to narrow it down to just one. I also do not know how to post a badge either?.

Ok guys

First, you have to save the image on your computer: right click on the image an "save target as..."

Then you must host that picture online thru a hosting web site such as photobucket.com  Once downloaded, you have to copy the link.(from the function "copy & paste")  You'll have three choices: url, tag or img.  Copy the img.

Then you must paste that link into your signature in your profile.  It should be written like that:

[ img ] http://i68.photobucket.com/albums/i7/yannsolo/Badge/ArtilleryGBbadge.jpg [ /img ]  but without the spaces around img.

No matter where you go ....... there you are.

Oh I am still with you old man. I have a few A-4s in my stash but not too crazy about them so I might pick a new one up. I have my folks visiting for a few weeks and then I will be starting.
