Yup, sure does, thanks! One more question, though: Are we still going with the Jan finish date?

Thanks,

Artillary is a major overlooked element in the modelling world. I thought about joining in, and even went so far as to find a couple pieces. But after inspecting what I got, I was so dissappointed that I threw in the towl. What somebody needs to do is to come out with a "multi kit" of the 155 howitzer. One with a metal barrel, and both styles of front jacks. This way your half way there to build a WWII / Korean War piece or a Vietnam era howitzer. The two I picked up lacked a good quality firing lock, and the periscope was a complete joke. It also would have been nice to have a opened breech just to show off the inter locking step thread breech on a 155. Then there is the ammo issue. All that I've seen are HE, and there is no illumination rounds that were in common use. The other howitzer I picked up was the 105, and from what I can see it's outta scale. But seemed to have better details than the other. Once again a real shame. I do have an M107 and an M109, and both also are gonna take some work to make them look half way reasonable. The best cannon I have is the British 12 pounder, and guess I could have used it. Oh well; I think it's time for Tamyia or Dragon to help us all out.

Hey guys, I'm still down for that 88, if you're still down for the group build thing. I'm pretty busy with other builds, but I think I can squeeze a pretty good artillery piece out.

Let me know.

Southern Dragon -

I too am busy with some group builds as well. Anyway, I'll through my hat in with the Tamiya 1/35 25 pounder, adding the Eduard PE set and Ultracast Italian helmets. With this build, I intend to make it appear as one of the pieces used by the Italian in North Africa. In North Africa, the Italian used many captured British 25 pounders to supplement their own artillery. It became a weapon of choice for them. Although it would be hard to tell it apart from a British used one.

I'd be in with a Dragon 1/35 Flak 38 20mm.

I'm sure someone around can make a badge.... Big Smile [:D]
