From looking at the Perth Modeller's site ... I see that they are the rubber block tracks. Fairly common track style for Shermans and variants.

Question? I have the 1999 Dragon Sherman Firefly Vc kit, #6121. Is this latest kit more accurate? If I were only going to build one would this newest release be the better choice? Thanks in advance!!

Glenn;

I just (2 months ago) bought #6121 myself. The new one is supposed to be more accurate. I think it has a few more options also, but can't remember. The new one costs about $8 more than 6121. Go read the review at http://pmms.webace.com.au/reviews/vehicles/dragon/dr6182.htm

It looks pretty cool to me, but according to the review, there are a few "gotcha's".
(I'm still going to build my older one, too.)

Good luck,

Bill

It also includes a set of figures that were not included with the past releases of the Firefly.
