LOL!!!--I kid you not--this is my FAVORITE ALBUM OF ALL TIME!!!!!!!

If I had one album on a desert island, it would be this one!! Nazareth is like, my absolute favoriteband, and if I ever do a solo project one day, I will be looking for a singer that sounds like Dan McCafferty!

Karl, I'm late on this but I was waiting  to post a picture, (but I've given up on the pic) of my oob Jag that I built (OMG! almost 30+ years ago) it and the MB Stuart were my fav kits and have survived display all these years, even the trip home from Germany (the german packers!). I don't think anyone thought about pe then esp. in 72/76 scales! Your version is great! As all your endeavors. I am glad to hear FSM is Buying your articles, Maybe that means we will see less of some of the ridiculous and pompus jerks the've been publishing or "Highlighting" in the past and more of good guys like you and few others around here!!!!!

Geez, Doog.  That is one serious braille scale Jagdpanther!  The camo is superb.  You done great accounting for the scale effect.  On top of that, figures and a base to boot!  What's next? 1/72 Aber 3 piece tool clasps?

I don't think that I could ever do something like this. My excuse is that my fingers are two sizes too large.  Well, at least that's my story and I'm sticking to it....   A really fine job.

And congrats of your winter scene that is currently being displayed on the mainpage.

Thanks, Manny, and dupes! Big Smile [:D] Thanks for being so kind! Blush [:I]

Manny, to be honest, I'm not sure if I took enough "WIP" shots of this to submit it? I better be careful too--I just sold two more articles to them--the "MIG" King Tiger, and the Castle Neuschwanstein--so I better not 'wear out my welcome", lol.

Thank, guys! Big Smile [:D]

Here I is !!! Sorry, been working on my dio masterpiece (yeah, right): "Counterattack"...

I'll tell you what, most guys would kill to be able to apply that same level of craftmanship on a 35th scale model, much less a 72nd scale model. This is one of the nicest 72nd scale pieces of armor I have ever seen...I truly mean that---maybe the BEST.

IMO, this is a shoe-in for a feature article in FSM. They are nuts if they are not dialing your number right now wanting the rights to this build blog.  This effort is truly another facet to the gem of your modeling skills...and those figs!

Bythe way, how'd you shrink my 35th scale figgies down to 72nd scale??? Wink [;)]

OK, just two updated photos--I drilled out the exhausts, and painted the wood block, as per Bill's and some others' sugggestions! Thanks again, for all the help, praise, and critique of this favorite little kit of mine! Big Smile [:D]

sfcmac,

odd, but I've been using the exact same glow in the dark product of silly putty for about four years now!  I ended up buying two or three 'eggs' of it and they're all still plyable and workable.

If you're concerned about make the colors last though, it should be noted that after painting, the silly putty will be irretrivably turned into a different color.  My glow in the dark green is now permanently grey... Wink [;)]

Hey Vector 123 I am far from an expert but I think this may help answer your question.

I think your asking about Silly Putty which is a Novelty toy meant for children to play with. It can be shaped and rolled into position and can be a very effecting painting mask. I find mine in Craft stores but I have heard it is in Dollar stores in the states as well. It can be hard to find overseas for some reason or is called something else I don't know about.  Here are some pics.

Most of the time the Egg container is red but I got this special glow in the dark version cuz everybody here knows I'm special! LOL!  Here are some pics!

Hope that makes things clear as mud! There are much better tutiorials under silly putty if you give a search for it.

Hey Doog! What do you see when you look at that ink pattern! LOL! Bow [bow]

Steve,

I'm not a Panther expert by any degree and a mesh type of screening would make sense given how large the openings are...I was trying to find a pic of an actual Panther from the rear showing the hoods but all the ones I could locate were side-on and of no help at all as a result. They'd still have a sense of depth though IMHO even with the screens in place and that's what I was trying to convey in my suggestion to Karl.
