Andy - Another museum class build. Mastering the "old" brush skill is a true art.

I'm not a Sherman fan (sorry Tread) but I am a great build fan. Very nice work.

I said it before and I still mean it. I love the looks of this Shermie-- I must critique one small thing:  How does the commander see out of his view ports on the cupola?

Great build Andy, white wash and 99.9 % of the details are top drawer

In the words of Phil "The Scooter" Rizzuto...

HOLY COW!

Andy that is really sweet.  Ditto what doog said about good old fashioned hand painting techniques.  the trick techiques are used cuz they are usually easier.  that takes a real talent.

I know this will break Steve's heart, but it make me wantto start on my Sherman. Sorry redleg... it won't be green Wink [;)]

Great work Andy, a white wash is very difficult to pull off, in the old days of the "Verlinden Way" there was a lot of drybrushing and lots of modellers found it a very hit or miss affair.

Well Andy you "HIT" that nail square on the head again.

Terry.

Well, technically over to Europe--I'm leaving the 10th of June, and will be hitting Finland, France, Spain, Norway, Romania, and Germany. All large summer festivals, all on the weekends. I won't be back until JUly 26th or so?

My summer racing season is totally shot.... Sigh [sigh]

My sincerest compliments, Andy--a true stunner!

Your painting is again, top-notch. You know, it's funny, but sometimes, after all the fancy "trick" finishing techniques are dismiised with, sometimes just good "ol' fashioned" hand-painting is, and can be, the perfect application for a technique that just works the best.

You've certainly proved that! My hat's off to you! Bow [bow]

But the best thing about your posts are the little British expressions I pick up from you--"cheap as chips" Big Smile [:D] --I'll have to use that when I'm "over there" inect week for most of the summer! Wink [;)]

NucmedTech im sure yours will turn out just fine and thanks for compliments. I have done the tools and painted the tracks . Tools were done with a coat of light buff acrylik followed by oils. Tracks still need weathering a touch and still have to do running gear but she,s getting there.
