Nice job on a oldie! I used to build these at one time. They're nice little forerunners of the nearly-ubiquitous "interiors" available today.

What Bill said about the interior; I noticed that too, but other than that, it's a nice job, and a cool setting.

I know this is an old thread but I remember as a kid (circa 1975) my mom bribing me to go with her to "Pic 'n Save" (now Big Lots) with the promise that she would buy me a model.  They had tons of 1/48 Bandai kits for like a dollar or so.  I never built most of them because I didn't care for the small size.  I actually gave a Stg III and the Elefant kit to my stepson to about a month ago to build!  Still have some of their accessory kits somewhere, palm trees, oil drums, sand bags, etc.

I don't see too many of the older Bandai kits built up. My friend built a Panther way back when we were younger. Did this include an engine? I remember them being very detailed and spendy for the day.

Looks pretty good, but you missed some base on the front hull it appears. Do you have any other bandai's in your stash?

Very nice.  I especially like the camo.  I have the kit in my "to do" pile.  Hope it looks as good as yours.

Regards,  Rick

Congrats on getting this one done! Yes As a note for future builds, the interior on open-top vehicles generally matched the exterior in terms of paint color. The reason for the off-white color for turreted or close-topped vehicles was to enhance visibility of the crew inside the vehicle...and with an open top that's not necessary. Plus the white had the added negative effect of making the vehicle very visible from the air and thus turning it into an inviting target!

It's good to see you adding figures and basework to your build, keep it up! Yes
