I wasn't sure it was possible Rob, but you've really outdone yourself with this one. Definitely the best work you've done to date IMHO. Very effective presentation all around and the comparison to the actual photo shows the lengths you went to in terms of realism and reproduction of a burned-out hulk. Hail to the Rust King! Beer

Hehehe Thanks Karl, and thank you all for the wonderful comments. This project was one of the rare builds I do to specific reference pics, but not the last. There is another burnt out T-69II that I will do later this year.

I will be taking a break from building and forum posting this year and concentrating on making masters and my site / forum. I will of course be checking in and seeing what everyone is up to. I will also be doing more "how-to" videos on rusting.

Thanks again for the kind words and I am glad to read that you all approve of how this turned out.

To quote the great Jeff Spicolli:

'Awesome, totally awesome!' & ' Ahh gnarly!'Cool

Tanks do not look so menacing in a destroyed state, if a photograph of the knocked out tank can tell a story of a thousand words you have captured it in a thousand bits of plastic & resin!

Hi all. Just thought I would post some final pics of this project. I can't believe it took this long to finish.

Here are some pics of the real tank and model for comparison.

Hope you like how it turned out.

Hey guys thanks a bunch for the comments, glad your liking it.

Dude I know what you mean, I too saw way too many of the tanks over there in 91. I lost all the pics I had of them. No digi cameras back then, just film.
