I built this kit OOB,it came with P/E for the fenders, light guards and engine screen, plus a wire tow cable I want to build a small base for it (I know it needs more weathering and a hit of dull coat) Does anybody know what good Infantry figures would be good for Sicily?

Thank you very much I know very liitle about computers lol
Thanks for posting. I know that DML is notorious for mistakes in their instructions. Did you emplace the commander's hatches upside down?
Here's one for you to compare:

Nice job!

No the commander hatch went on right (from what I can tell,it looks like the link you posted) The I only found a couple of errors in the instructions,it was mostly confusing with vauge locations on were to glue stuff on and it came with a free spare part box of parts lol.......The one thing it didn't come with and isnt shown on the box art is a 50 cal.
Definately no lack of effort here.Nice job.
1st ship last month! 1st Dragon kit now! I guess you don't have to worry about burn out from repition... yet anyway.
I think you have found your true calling in the muddy hell of big BRAPPING armored vehicles. Looks real nice John. Welcome not only to armor... welcome to the sometimes feared DRAGON INSTRUCTION SHEET. High part count is over shadowed sometimes by that flimsy sheet of paper.

Thanks Marc, this is for July's contest.Thats where I'm at now,way ahead of the game this year lol.... just gonna build a base for her and add a few figures once I figure out who is good for Sicily. Got another ship for friday lol.....HMS Cambeltown (old Revell kit I think 1/240th) even some 1/144th jets and a helicopter for May lol branching out all over.....Oh and the Dragon directions do leave a bit to be desired even in the 1/144th scale kits. They were kinda vauge where to place stuff. But now I have a box full of spare Sherman parts lol...
nice job on the build.Ron
very nice build !!
Thanks for the kind words guys it means alot when it comes from people on here that I highly respect for their builds.

Yes, Dragon are notorious for their mistake-riddled instructions. I've actually come to believe that it's a nefarious plot to embarrass new builders with mistakes that would be caught by more experienced modelers. Even still, we veterans sometimes get caught with our tweezers down!
Still, it looks like you did a fine job with your Sherman. BRAP ON!
Thanks Doog, sorry no "brapppping"for me anymore if I tried to ride a dirt bike again I'd end up with a worse back than I have already lol....Used to love it.. till I hurt my back and shoulder twice once in a wreck at Wall Stadium trying to imatate Rusty Wallace flipping down the the back strech and once with a roll back ( tow truck) getting pinned between my truck and the mini van I was gonna tow.Gomessed up in both lol....Thanks again for the kind words everybody you guys made my day.
