Here is my second tank. Trumpeter KV-1 lightweight turret. Thanks for looking.
A beautifully done example!
Nice paint, good battle damage, and great weathering effects!
Very impressive whether it were the second or 70th build. I like the drips on the paint and the weathering. I do think the excessive wear on the front of the hull is a bit overdone though. Still, very, very nice.

the tracks were handled very well and I like the fender wear and damage
the overall weathering looks real and works

I love Trump's KV-1's!!! Very nice job.
Thanks for the kind words guys. The weathering is what it is all about for me so I'm glad you think it works .
Is the front over done? I don't know, maybe. But what would it look like if this tank had run over several trees and whatnot?
Pretterier than the standard KV-1. I'll have to get one of those. Very nice job.

I'm a big fan of Trumpeter KV's.You did this one justice.
Congrats on completing #2. The Russian KV series always lends itself well as a "canvas" for weathering. The stripe around the turret top is a nice touch as well.

ditto on all, very well done.

re: 'wear on front' I didn't make this initial comment but with your reply reasoning,
maybe some wear scrapes or dirty scrapes vertically down the lower front of the lower hull to indicate these actions
Thanks you for all the comments. Not only are these kits known as safe kits with no surprises, but they are cheap as well. It would be nice to have some PE screen for the intake but for the price who can complain?
Bill I like the white stripes found on some of the Russian tanks. Helps break up all the green and add a little character.
SprueOne, that's not a bad idea.
nice job.Ron
