This is my first WIP posted on here besides group builds.
I am building a V-100 Commando from the Vietnam Conflict for a fellow VET, although he is ARMY!
It's a surprise for him. His wife provided me some pics of his vehicle, he served with the 716th MP BN.
I am using the 1/35 Hobby Boss kit.
It requires some mods, mainly the front and rear M60 mounts, the turret M2 .50 cal mount and the MP siren.
I built the MG mounts from styrene tubing and parts of academy's MG set.
The siren is part of a unknown airplane bomb, sprue, and wire.
I will be able to use some decals and will need to make the others.
It will be placed in a simple dio, with a brass nameplate and the pictures below.

This is the body,,,primed to detect flaws..All hatches will be closed and no aftermarket parts..
