 Gamera:

Well, I'm only about a four hour drive away, and this is probably as close as AMPS will ever be to me but I'm going to skip it.

Yes I am a lazy bum. Good luck and have fun to all you guys that are going.

You'll kick yourself later. You can't say no to all those vendors.

I've got a 2 1/2 drive to mine in Seattle this weekend, so what's an hour? Wink

Sigh, I don't doubt it Tigerman. I'd been thinking about going and then I got flyers from the National D-Day Memorial in Bedford, VIrginia about special events they're holding next weekend and the Danville Tank Museum has a big weekend show at the end of the month. Planning for them I completly forgot about AMPS . Sad thing though both of these should be fun AMPS is much bigger and cooler than both put together...... Embarrassed

Well yes, I suppose they'll be back around here eventually.......

Manstein's revenge

I'll come by and let Aaron get a pic of me with my seams just to satisfy the curiousity of what I look like---although that IS me in my avatar...'

I wonder if someone can take your models for you (in absentia)?  Are there any rules against this???

This year's theme is Marine Armor.

DOUBLE AAARGH!!! My Marine Tamiya M48 Patton would have been the perfect model to enter for the theme! Doesn't it figure, huh? BUMMER!  Crying

Just a note of to let everyone know the FSM Editor Matt Usher and I will be at the AMPS convention in Fredericksburg, Virginia, Friday April 8 and Saturday April 9. Look for our photo booth in the contest area and stop by and say g'day. I might even bring a model to enter for the first time. If you haven't been to an AMPS convention before, I recommend it. Lots of great models on display. This year's theme is Marine Armor.

Cheers, Aaron
