Eric,
Congratulations! Competition is, if anything, fierce at both regional and national events, so it's obvious your win was well-deserved. Would really like to see some pics of what you did.

Eric: Good job man! Wow, 1st place at such a large show. Congrats!

Glad to hear it was such a good event and that some forum members got to meet face-to-face. Of course, I'll be on Mr. Boyer to get me some photos to post in OnlineExtra.

Thanks Dwight, DJ, Peter and the rest.

Michael, thank you too and Blush [:I] you're making me blush man! This was my first attempt at doing armor and I can't take all the credit. I learned a LOT from this forum and all of y'alls posts and Shermanfreak, Renarts and Moses helped me out a lot on this build so they all got first too!!! Can you feel the love?? Big Smile [:D] That's why I love this forum, everyone helps each other out and that makes us all better modelers. Thanks again, I appreciate all the help and things I've learned here form y'all.

I think you right about my brother Mike, after seeing all that stuff yesterday he was fired up to build something new. Plus he got to watch the weathering process change a car model this morning in front of his eyes and I think that was the icing on the cake for him. AAA was definatly a great time, R Lee and all.

Kongratz, Erush. I think the 1st place finish can speak better for your kit. It is a job very very well done, my friend.

Wow, this place is becoming a haven for tournament/competition winners and published modelers.

Thanks again to everyone for the props! I had a blast just being at the show, meeting Ed, Mike and Chris was the best part and the rest was just icing on the cake and a big suprise to me. We had loads of fun and that's what mattered!

Thanks again all.

Eric did a great job, and stood up against some tough judging. Of all the 1164 entries there wasn't a dog in the bunch.
We knew he was under the microscope though when the judges came over to where Paul Boyer was shooting and started giving him the once over again....and asking him questions about his build. He had some tough competition and came out like a trooper.

The best part of the whole thing though had to be getting some face time and spending the day with Eric, Ed and Chris. I think Chris's brother went home with a kit as well so hopefully we'll have a new member in the forum club. All and all those guys made the trip from Florida even better. Wish more of you could have been there and hooked up with us. We all raised a glass to Historyinscale at lunch so he was there with us in spirit.

Congrats to everyone. And I had a great time. And by the way Eric was the host with the most with his field trip to AAA hobbies. What a cool store. Guys... I highly reccomend it. Well worth the trip.

Thanks Eric, Ed and Chris.
