Sounds like you placed a order on your smart phone while she was in the powder room!

Glad you are happy with your new kit!

Looks like a good one yet I wonder if the Porsche Jagpanzer was a one off prototype? Or possibly a 'Paper Porsche'?

I'm warming up to 'em myself and I live within 20 minutes of Squadron's facility!

I just ordered to 10mL bottles of Tamiya XF-57 Buff...since HobbyTown in Arlington can't seem to get any in.  Crying  I'm probably just missing it though.  It hits the shelf and is gone!  :(

Yup, I like the too. Between Sprue Bros and Luckymodel, they get the bulk of my online purchases. The LHS still gets the most tho. Thing I like most about SB besides their quick shipping is that you can set up an alert for items you want that are out of stock.. they email you when they come back into stock.

Well thanks to this thread I ended up ordering 4 new models and when I hit the place order button I got thelast ones of two of them. They were a steal at under $30.  All 4 of them got here yesterday, just 2 days after ordering. Now my problem is finding the time to build them.

SprueBro's is on my favs list, too!Big Smile

I just put in an order for two recent Dragon kits - the Bison II (15cm s.IG 33 auf Pz.Kpfw. II...) and the Befehlsjager 38(t) -(shhhhh! Don't let my dear SWMBO hear! Could not resist the current prices! Zip it! )

SB gets most of my regular online biz - good prices, great shipping, nice sales, little confusion about whether stuff is actually in stock, and when things do go awry, they have done fine by me to fix it up!  Who can ask for more?

Pretty good sale going on there right now. I picked up a Dragon 1/32 BF110D/E 'Night Fighter', listed at $115 for $50 bucks today, along with a few other kits half price. So, yeah, they've got my attention as well!

I to bought from the recent Christmas sale.  I ordered the Bison II and the Late Mark IV J with the mesh skirts.  As for the Porsche Jagdtiger.  It was the first few Jagdtigers and had zimmerit.  I have a book that shows them and also one that had the porsche mounts but then had the torrsion bars of the henschel suspension.

Have to agree about Sprue Brothers.  Got me latest Sherman (Pacific Theater) kit from Dragon for only $24 last night.  I need to add more American armor to my stash to make my boys happy...

during the latest christmas sale, i added 4 kits to my cart. went to pay for them as they were dirt cheap, and the postage was as much as the kits themselves. I live in australia and it is a shame the postage is so high. the only thing going here is the Aussie $$ is at parity with the greenback.

I don't love Sprue Brothers and here's why: Whatever you do make damn good and sure that you have your correct address in your order when you place it because if you do as I did and 'assume' that your address is correct because you changed it in you profile guess again. Double check your address because once sent Sprue Bros. won't make any attempt to make things right. To them it's send it and forget it.I never did receive the model I sent for. Sprue sent it to my old address of which I had no way to get it.If it wasn't for Paypal giving me my money back I never would have gotten any satisfaction at all. Paypal had my back and I appreciate that!!

Another good online source for models and supplies is Scalehobbyist.com. They have a super huge selection and great prices!!

Well I am a SB fan now!

Ordered some AM goodies for the 1/72 scale Revell U-boat VII C

Must say was very impressed on all aspects of their service.

Would recommend their mail order and will buy again.

Tasty upgrades or what!?

i'm gonna have to agree. after searching multiple, multiple online retailers, since the Tampa area is sorely lacking in model stores now, i finally was able to find the stowage set for HobbyBoss's defender from their website.

sadly, i would've saved myself some time if i had noticed that Sprue Brothers are the official US distributor of Legend Productions' stuff.

now, if i could just find some reasonably priced cans of tamiya ts-46...

Example of why I love them...Ordered a bunch of the Classic Airframe specials they have (great kits and awesome price btw) on late Tuesday, they were waiting on the front door yesterday (Wed)  when I got home from work...WOW!

A little off-topic here, but does anyone else find it strange or a bummer that DML molded this Jagdtiger with the anomalous "neck-high" zimmerit coating? If I recall correctly, only one prototype actually had the zimmerit coat go this high? The other Porsche Jagd's had zimm that ended mid-hull.
