I agree with Karl. They are daunting when not knowing what to do. I make one long run of them with testors in the purple bottle with a brush. Let dry for an hour, then wrap it around the sprocket, idler, and road wheels. I'd stick a cotton ball where the track sags and let sit for 24 hours. After that you can paint it before you install it permantely. It helps if you don't glue the sprocket or idler on before the final attatchment

I may try building individual tracks. I finally found AFV club vinyl tracks on eBay.

Well, I'm going to fully admit that this may not help you one bit, but you shouldn't give up the ghost on indy tracks after one failure. You're taking about half of the available kits out there out of your reach if you're not going to learn how to work with indy tracks.

Honestly, the Tiger's tracks are probably among the easiest to do in indy's. Seriously--give it another shot. It's not hard. There are plenty of threads on doing them if you use the "Search" feature.

Tamiya 1/35 Tiger Mid Prodcution: No Vinyl Tracks?

I bought a Tamiya 1/35 Tiger Mid and it came with only individual tracks. Having had an agonizing experience with Dragon's magic tracks, I'm not sure if I want to assemble those individual tracks.

Is there an aftermarket vinyl track set for the Mid Tiger? I've looked at some store sites and they sell only individual metal tracks. I know Dragon made DS tracks for the Tiger and there's none even on eBay.
