Gamera - Thanks! Yeah, the Emhar kits are about the only way to go unless you want to spend big bucks on a resin kit. They're tough to get right, but with some TLC they can be made into respectable builds. Some AM parts don't hurt either....I'm SO glad those Model Cellar tracks are available. I also have the Emhar MkIV Female tank and I want to get to it this year if possible.
Bill - You're too kind sir! You're one of my inspirations on these forums and much of what I've learned has come from builders like you! Now if I can only build at your usual prodigious rate.....
Marc - DOH! OK, that went right over my head!! I think I'll hang on to the Whippet for now, unless you're interested in a trade for your Wingnut Wings Roland D.VIa??? Now THAT's a beautiful build!
Mike - Thank you Mr. redleg! Just please don't drop an 8" shell on it from your current AFV M115 Howitzer! The armor on these WWI tanks just can't handle that much firepower!!
tread - Glad you liked it! I was awed by your detailing of the Char 1 BIS so I tried to do so a little of the same with the Whippet! I'm glad I didn't have to do a multi-color camo job though, plain khaki green suits me just fine!
Karl - "Old Timer"!! I never considered myself as such, but now that I think about it I've actually been a member for over 5 years! I guess I am an "Old Timer" and I'm proud of it! I'm glad you liked the Whippet Karl, you know you've reached another level when the doog provides such praise! You're another FSM forum member whose work I've always loved and aspired to. Thanks for sharing all your work with us, like your current Waffentrager! That is one beastly cannon!!
