I like the subjects and the shading going on, but feel they are both over-chipped, especially the halftrack. I can't say I've seen any evidence that supports that much wear.

Hi tigerman,
Thanks for your comments. They may be over-chipped according to your eyes, but to mine I think they look OK. Heavy chipping has been the style and trademark of AI the builder for over a decade now, and many people like it that way.
Over chipped or not,I'm diggin' on that halftrack.
Crusader, unusual subject very, nice :)
Now the 1/2 track...
Heavy weathering is the in thing at the moment, but when its that good no complaints here. Two things. First the tracks look very wrong to me, they and wheels are not sitting right. AM tracks would of taken it to a much better level. Second, while paint work has wonderful weathering there is no sign of dust or sand other than near the front guards, for weathering this extreme one would expect more dust at least, and lost of it on the windows (looks like the have just been washed)

Thanks for your kind comments, TD4438.
Ever wonder what tools "Art Instructor" - my main modeler uses in modeling? Here they are:

His Comments:
1st line = Air Pump Home-made, submerged in water but still works.
2nd line = The sword is in the mind.
I agree that, usually you don't see American vehicles with such heavy chipping; the paint was more durable than German paint.
The models are finished beautifully, once again--but in the future, less chipping on America vehicles!
Thanks, Karl! I'll pass on your comments to AI.
Model Maniac Thanks, Karl! I'll pass on your comments to AI.
Really , it's up to the individual to how much he really wants to weather his vehicle. If you don't mind historical accuracy, then by all means beat the tar out of them. I admit that I prefer to to dirty up my armor, rather then chip and beat them up.
Two very nice models! The only complaint I have is the silvering on the decals
