I have that #6397 too! I haven't cracked it open, but from the box and reviews looks pretty good.

The Johan Huber kit will need some TLC, but I've seen you work magic before. It's a little sparse, but does come with the PE schurzen and aluminum barrel.

You realize that all that "jagd" is going to keep you tied up so long they're going to declare you legally married to 'em? Wink

Good god, but that's a lot of models....of a similar model!

Karl i've only got to build four, the other two will be donor kits.

I cleaned up the wheels for the 70(A) and the A-O sitting here watching TV tonight. All it takes is motivation and knowing you guys want to see me pull it off or fall on my butt.Wink

Yeah, Tony I hope you don't burn out doing all those Panzer IV running gear. Worst thing I hate about doing American armour is it seems 90 percent of it is based on the Sherman VVSS suspension which gets old after awhile. Dead

WHOA!  Tony, this is going to be fun to watch.  I am very happy to report that I have two of those... Dragon #6397 and Imperial #9061.  And I always wanted to get that Tristar kit but no hurry... there are so many great kits out there.

My vote goes for either Tristar kit or Imperial "Johann Huber" kit.  You know me I will follow your WIP... Big Smile

Those 8-wheelers are cool and they don't take up a lot of shelf space.

I have 9127 and 9059 in my stash so will keep an eye on this to see how they should be done before I get round to them, but then with the quality of your builds they may have to stay in the stash for a while till I get 10% of your skill

Looks like the perfect "assembly line" type of project Tony...will be interesting to watch! Just make sure you don't mix up the kit parts accidentally along the way and you should be ok. Big Smile

Glad to know that I'm not the only one with delusions of grandeur...my stash is well stocked with 4 or 5 variant strong mini-collections that I'll be getting to "after this build". Whistling

Off the top of my head - Humvees, M113s, IDF armor, Tigers, Panthers, 251s, 250s, 234s, Jagdpz 4s, Pz 3s, Pz 4s, etc. etc. etc.

Good luck! Looking forward to seeing the bunch!

Hey All

While a wash coat dries on the Brummbar I got a start on the  DML A-O Prototype and the Tristar L/70 (A)

So far so good even if both brand instructions are PITA.Big Smile

Hey Tony,

These will make for an interesting line-up!

The Dragon 6589 kit looks particularly interesting.

I've actually got two Dragon 1/144builds in my stash! A Hetzer and a IV/70. The JP has Brass Etched sidescreens and DS tracks. I might have to make that one up along with a tiny base to go with it! It sould paint up really nice with some small 2/0 & 5/0 brushes.

All the best

Last night and this morning was productive and fun,I assembled the lower hull and running gear on the L/70(A).

I like the comparative angle you're giving to this WIP, Tony. It should serve as a primer on the differences and similarities of the whole line. A very cool idea. You should keep this "tack" to it as you continue! Yes

Nice to see these come to life side-by-side Tony, just don't overwork the assembly line crew in the process and you'll be fine. Wink
