Wz.34 1:35 German
Posted by Rafhart on Sunday, March 11, 2012 4:41 PM

Hi, this is the latest model which is now finished, painted with acrylic paints Italeri.
1:35 Scale German painting, these grips fenders, machine gun, MIG pigmetami soiling, minor stains AK preparations.
As always, the model has landed on ebay.com for one dollar because I'm not happy with the hand-painted crosses, although the photos are archival too crooked but I could paint the airbrush. Sad

The real thing was most likely hand painted in a hurry anyway.

Too bad that you would just throw it up on eBay like it was a failed model--I think it looks pretty nice, and all it would need is some gray wash over those crosses and maybe some very light drybrushing with a really soft brush. That would make it "pop" a little more, as we say here.

A model like this could benefit too, from the Dot Filter technique too. to break up that monotone gray scheme a bit.

Thanks for the comments. The model was applied to the upper surfaces of the filter as falling dust.
The fact that I am not satisfied with the model does not mean that you will not be like others. I'm almost never happy with their models, and always leave them on ebay because I like to build not like to collect.

Yah, you might be a little harsh on yourself, but I usually feel the same way after my builds. Coulda, shoulda, didn't. It's funny how I tend to like those builds later on.

Well, it is different and kind of cool. The tires look a bit small to fit on the rims, but that isn't your fault.

I really like the build. Yes

A very clean build with crips details.

What kit did you use? I built a Wz34 from Toga a couple of years ago, and the quality and level of details on that kit didn't come close to this one.
