That's a very nice build!
Your work with highligtning the panels, applying washes, the attention to the details and the weathering really payed off. IMO it can be mistaken for a 1/35 kit - and THAT'S unusual! Thanks for the Vallejo recipe for English green - it will come in handy!
I'm also quite impressed by the details of the Airfix kit. As I remember them, they were quite a nightmare to build, since the fitting was so poor. Especially their Churchill kit drove me crazy. Maybe they've shaped up.
Looking forward to the "habitat" your about to build. I always go for a diorama for tanks in 1/72 scale. It seems that smaller kits really benefit from being "framed" that way, by being put into a diorama, even if its just a small, simple one, like in the old Matchbox kits.
And lastly, congratulations on the little ankle-biter that's on it's way (isn't that a Australian expression?)!
