Not much left to do guys. When it's dry I need to make a tow cable for the front, color the tracks and give it a light dusting since it's almost new from the shop.

Glad you like it fellows

This has a different system Greg.  The casement or turret stays and the gun is lifted out with a Jib Hoist and the wheels plus the trails installed for use as a normal field piece leaving the transporter for other duties ( ammo supply or recovery)

All the parts to build the gun as a field piece are supplied in the kit btw.

Can this gun be removed from the chassis like the grasshopper?

Appreciate the compliments guysYes

Yes there are some things that can be added for a more accurate model but I wouldn't call them show stoppers.  I didn't find a decent walk around until after I had assembled the gun and trails but the error on the trails were not that big a deal to me so I didn't correct them.

There's very little PE with the kit so no need to worry about it, it does supply the six projectiles but skipped the charge casings.

The casement walls and ammo lockers are really thin for scale effect which is good but heat and being packed in a box that's to small for all the contents is not so good.  Mine were warped pretty good but with careful persuasion I was able to coax them into place.

Not what I would consider a beginners kit but it is doable if you've got a little experience under your belt.
