NO lifting gear supplied with the kit and the reason for the Voyager set

Boy-O-Boy this is going to be a loads of fun.

The correct Friulmodel tracks, the kit magic tracks have open guide teeth "WRONG" and should be solid.

If interested hang around to see how this thing comes together.

Nice one Tony this is theh one I bought when it came out, gonna be interesting seeing the lifting gear going into it, i was unsure if the extra cost was necessary, but I'm sure this build log will tell. Thanks.

Terry since the Dragon kit has some interior I wanted to have the turret being removed but if you leave it on there's really no need for the PE hoist.

Update Time

Pivot Arms

Didn't like the way Voyager did the rear hull attachment points so I dug out my Redneck engineering handbook and came up with this easy fix.

Works for me

Just don't tie yourself into knots in the process Tony! Wink After all the Pz IV chassis vehicles you've been working on lately, I bet a unicycle sounds real good right about now! Propeller

Hi Tony :-)

Really well done so far and a lot of cool P.E... as is your normYes..... The thing I don't get is the poor theory behind the vehicle...

A howitzer designed to hold a lot of armmo, but it drives up and drops it's turret into a cement casement ?...

At least they had the sense  to cancel it .  I am sure your build will be way better than their theoryBig Smile

I hope you don't mis understand my post ,Tony  and I do find it interesting !

Hi Tread

This not only was to served as a weapons transporter but also for ammo supply and possibly a recovery vehicle.

As you know German engineers were innovators.

Thanks bud

She is looking great.  This is a very cool vehicle, glad you decided to have the turret off.  That will be very different and as you said, really show off the interior.  You don't need no rehab, You just need to keep keeping on Beer
