G'day, my first WIP on these boards, but I thought I'd share my results so far on this kit. To be honest I can't even remember where I got it or for how much. I do know that it is an early relase, complete with old box art, 2 sets of plans (1 in English, 1 in Japanese) and no fancy PE.
I had thought on getting an etch set for this but in the end got impatient and pressed on without it. I try and learn something new from each kit and for this I am trying to make my own tarps and bedrolls. A lot of it is from the spares box and random resin sets that I have, but the big tarp on the back deck, right rear mud guard, top of the stowage box, and just behind the wooden box are my efforts. As is the one draped over the spare wheel.
The camoflage and marking are pure fantasy, I just wanted a different scheme to what I already have on my shelf. That said if it is not accurate let me know.
I still have to add it to a small base and add a figure or two, and finish off all the detail painting but I am getting there. BTW the wheel aren't fixed on yet, just posed for photos.
Feel free to jump in with feedback - lord knows I need it
