I like this very much, quick question for you about the SCC.2

I'm attempting Mike Starmers Tamiya mix of 5pts Nato Brown + 4pts Flat Yellow + 1pt Flat Black.

But is seems to be darker than yours.  What formula did you use for yours?

Consensus on Network54 is Tamiya have changed the formulation on some of their colours, & an up to date revision by Mike Starmer can be found here http://www.network54.com/Forum/47208/thread/1455271480

Hataka, a Polish co(?) have released Hataka British AFV paint set (WW2 European colours) # AS22 as here;

Includes the elusive SCC2, SCC15 & SCC1a, & night black, similar containers to Vallejo/MIG but haven't used them yet, so won't comment on their colours or usability.

Hannants do Xtracrylix XA1817 British Dark Earth & XA1002 RAF Dark Earth BS450, which I do use, they spray & cover well & the RAF colours at least are slightly satin.

Pickfords: well known furniture removals (U-Haul van with minions)

Don't feel bad Tony I have a hard enough time translating Cockney English as well as regular English English. Now you have to find a crew for that GMC ( translated Gun Motorized Carriage for the folks not familiar with military terms)

Looking good Tony!! At first glance, I thought the red and blue decals were Tamiya symbols for just a second

nice start, but needs to look like a cross between 'arolds totters' wagon & Pickfords'  Removals.

I'll be back at the bench on March 21st, Tony! Wahooo!

I figgered that paint was laquer based...oh well. That can happen to anyone. And BTW, Tamiya can brush just fine if you keep it wet enough---just keep adding a drop of water to a little pool of it, and it goes on fine. It just dries quick from the laquer in it--but you can keep it "wet" with a little water, and it can go out nicely.

If you do build one PS1SCW don't get in a hurry at the aft end, it's a bugger to get everything to line up square and play nice from front to back.
