After a succesful week long search and rescue operation for the instruction sheet I was once again able to continue assembling the big beast.
All the accessories are put on the interior. I added some straps to the jerry cans and ammo shelves. Still have some decaling to do and some additional wash and drybrushing. Also going to add some straps across the doghouse holding down some bedrolls and such. I still hate to think how hard it was for the driver to get in his seat.
This is one of the ammo can storage shelves that I added straps across. Did'nt look exactly like I wanted but should be ok with the limited visibility they have with the cab on.
A shot of the 5th wheel in place. Still going to be doing alot more drybrushing of steel and rust and then applying a grease coating of oil paint. The pe ehaust cover which so far has been the only problem with the kit ( not caused by myself) is there. Thanks to some advice from Robert, finally got it on this morning.
Next to do is the tandem winches which look intemidating and appetizing at the same time. Anyone that might see something, go ahead and point it out, I have a bad habit if over looking things ( just ask my wife, she'll tell you).
