Thanks Ernest.

I'm still watching that GB, for that very reason: awesome work over there. Makes me humble.

Wow!  Interesting camo scheme RBaer!  You definitely nailed it and the weathering!  I love the bare steel showing through the dirt and crud on the wheels and tracks!!  You guys in the Steel Cats GB are turning out some freakin amazing work!  YesYes

You got a point doog. Something I overlooked for sure.

Okay, how's this? The turret was painted green with the loader's hatch open?

Nice job, RBaer. That's a neat finish on the OctoTiger!

The only thing I find a little incongruous is that you have the rear hatch painted in primer on he inside and the top hatch in light gray or ivory--- I"d think that the whole turret would've been painted in the same color inside?

Lovely finish and very unique. I echo the other guys. Thanks for participating.

I'm having some trouble with photobucket with uploading, so I'll try later on your final finished picture.

Big Smile

I'm enjoying these Tamiya KTs: pretty quick to build, and lots of big flat space to paint!

I finished something! Hot dawg, I really finished something. Nothing like a GB to help move things along.

So, camo from Osprey's King Tiger book, from a tank (or tanks) reportedly driven off the Henschel assy line and straight to the noise. I wanted it dirty but not chipped or, heaven forbid, rusted. In hindsight, I should have left off some tools and cables, but I wanted to see what Tammy's parts would look like after painting. Friul tracks and the gun barrel CMK are the only aftermarket parts.

As usual for a Tamiya kit, assembly was fun, no issues, and relatively quick.

Next? Maybe the CharB, since I have the Tamiya M51 in progress and have to have at least two in assembly stage at all times.Confused
