Wow, Kenny, I can't give high enough praise for taking a disaster and turning it into a shining triumph! This model came out just spectacularly--it has a dynamic look and finish. Really a triumph of patience and determination!
That cat would be....well, forget it; don't want to get into that, but cats and models go together about as well as babies and lawnmowers!
You should be able to dribble some really thin superglue down each individual chain, and as soon as you put it on, touch the end of a facial tissue to the bottom off it to draw off the excess, and the small amount of it remaining in between the links will "freeze" those chains in place so they stop clinking and moving. Just hit them with some Flat Clear afterward and you won't even be able to notice it. This way, you can stop worrying about those chains de-flaking if you transport this model to a contest somewhere--which you should, as it's a winner, no doubt!
