This is the Eduard p.e. set for the Tamiya SdkFz 7/2 that I'll be using .
Here's a step by step on the Friul tracks with the explanation being below the picture .
1.The kit tracks are these ancient vinyl contraptions . They are too wide and poorly detailed by todays standards .I went with a set of Friuls .
2. and 3. . The kits wheels are made to fit the vinyl tracks which are overly wide so some surgery is needed to make them narrower to fit the Friuls .
4. The holes in the tracks for the brass wire connecting pins (you cut your own from a coil of brass wire provided by Friul) have a bit of flash and need drilling out .
5. , 6. and 7. Some of the track assembly .The rubber pads on the tracks are a separate part (those rectangular pieces at the bottom of 7 ) And they fit snuggly into a notch in the tracks .
8. The Friuls assembled and wrapped around the modified width wheels .
