Now if some company would only produce figures of the correct era for these models. At present only figures for the coyote and LAV III are available.

Winters may be cold in Canada but at least there are no mosquitoes or blackflies

hey doog i don't think i am going to airbrush dust again. as i said i wanted a piece with just airbrush weathering. i now have one with just washes, just powder, just pastels, and just real dirt. i think pastels and powdes work better for dust and airbrush works better for wet stuff.weathering it, you have probably over done it." it may be a bit over done but was thinking about my tanker times at grafenwoehr in the BRD and the "dust" was almost liquid, or maybe the mud was dusty. anyway the trees along the tak trail were permanently stained the dust color. at graf you could be ankle deep in mud with dust in your eyes. and the last vehicles in a column were all dirt/dust colored. they make this one look clean.

Nice model, Wayne, but I"m not sure about airbrush weathering for dust yet. It can be a bit too thick and uniform if overdone. It takes a real bit or restraint not to all of a sudden obliterate your nice finish! The camo does look good though!

Nice job, that brings back a few memories. Is that 50 barrel OOB or after market?

fun build. used tamiya acrylics and silly putty for the camo. another first time experiment, weathering with an airbrush using comart paints. in the future i will use comart for the wet stuff and powders for the dusty stuff but wanted the first one done the same way. it's one of my generic bases i use to photograph finished armor.

pre weathering
