Rodolfo,

Now THAT looks simply OUTSTANDING!! That little change made a huge difference! The tank has continuity and harmony in the finish now.

Excellent, really!!

Hey my friend!

You made a better built from same kit I did.!Embarrassed

I see it a little bit too muddy, since it was on the desert they did not had those problems, but a lot of sand.

Smile Thanks for your kind comments and suggestions!.  Curiously I tought the same thing, but I am thinking in to change the tones of the wheels for contrasting with the hull.

Regards!
Rodolfo

That would also be an excellent tactic to improve the presentation, Rodolfo! Good luck with it, and post a picture or two if you do! Yes

Rodolfo,

Truly some excellent weathering and the paint is the way I like it---beat to heck and gnarly!

I would offer a suggestion, however. If your wheels are so coated with blowing sand, wouldn't it be wise to reflect the dispersion of yellow sand on the tank itself? I would think that a smart thing to do would be to make some better color harmony between the wheels and the hull by adding some of the pigments that you used on the wheels to the crevices and corners of the hull. As it is now, you have that one wheel so coated--and it's sitting squarely on the front of the tank hull, under (?) a track which is completely clean of that sand? (I would guess that you probably finished all the wheels off the tank and then added them where appropriate, thus creating this condition?)

I think you should think about making more continuity and harmony between that sand on the wheels vs the hull. Wink It would really improve the overall presentation--which is very, very good--but it could be great! Wink

Very nice indeed! I would just suggest bare steel on the edge of the idler wheel rim and on the sprocket teeth where they contact the track. The paint on those surfaces is very quickly ground away in service.
