Also, "bad" can indeed be used as a noun although you were correct that my usage of it in the sentence in question was incorrect.  Here are some situations in which bad may be used as a noun:

1. That which is bad: You have to take the bad with the good.

2. A bad condition, character, or quality: His lack of tolerance for people's usage of slang seemed to go from bad to worse.

3. (Used with a plural verb ) Evil persons collectively (usually preceded by the): The bad are always stirring up trouble.

Letters at the beginning of sentences need to be capitalized.  That's my pet peeve. 

I apologize for my use of slang.  I will immediately rectify the situation.

"bad" is an adjective, not a noun. (pet peeve, sorry).

Here is a 12 step program for you.

1. Buy model kit.
2. Open box and fondle the little clear plastic bags
3. Wipe away the drool
4. Cut open individual plastic bags
5. Organize the sprues
6. Wipe away more drool
7. Cuts parts from sprues
8. Clean and check fit of each part
9. Glue all the parts together
10. Paint and weather model
11. Put model on shelf (Usually a bit of drooling here too)
12. Go back to #1 and do it again… and again... and again...
