Dragon 1/35 Dicker Max ( Complete )
Posted by hummingbird on Tuesday, August 20, 2013 8:38 AM

Good day to you Gents.

Well, here comes another from me. This is my second Dragon kit ever. Due to the complexity of the dragon kit, I never touched them but I'm trying to step up my game so I bought one that a member from MilitaryModelling forum was selling cheaply. I'm glad I bought this as I enjoyed this build very much so.

The close ups shots for the muds, the crew. the on-board equipment, the exhaust, the underside, the boogies and, as usual, my show case photos from various angles can be found on my blog so just follow the link ( I had to take a lot of photos so sorry guys )

Thanks in advance for any feed back you guys might have. Thank you guys for always supporting me.
Until Next time.

That's a great looking build and nice to see your getting to grips with Dragon kits.

The only thing I would add is that the mud round the sides and front seems to stop rather suddenly. You would be surprised at how far the mud gets flung when heavy armour is on the move.

I am a Norfolk man and i glory in being so

Some really inspiring work! I am building my first Dragon kit ATM (King Tiger) and I'm enjoying it a lot so far.

May I ask you how the fit of that "Dicker Max" is? I sa wone at my LHS a few days ago and I'm thinking of buying it...

Excellent work.  I'd say you're ready to tackle one of their 'Super Kits' :)

Yes, I agree. But due to the nature of the vehicle's shape, I didn't want to show the mud as flung too bad.Not to mention, it was known to be slow and sluggish.

The Fit is actually quite ok. You just have to be careful putting on the fenders, the guns and the super structure. There were some mistakes on the instructions. You are welcome to go through my wip progress on my blog to see how exactly it went.
