Tracks are always good to get out of the way Anthony, looks like your TIger is progressing nicely. Beer

Looking great! I have both of Whittman's Tigers built in 1/72 scale, his early one and this one as well.

I knew I wouldn't be able to exactly duplicate 007's distinctive 3-tone camo, but  it looks decent anyway.Next up will be the weathering process.I also assembled  and treated the Fruils with AK Burnishing Fluid and some AK washes.I like the  dark brown color. They still will get some pigments to impart a dusty look along  with sanding the high points.

The crew hatches in the hull are the wrong way around.

Very nice looking cammo color and with the Friuls rusted should look good.

Nice paint progress Anthony! Hopefully you can flip around those crew hatches and repaint to match the pattern without too much trouble. Yes

That looks just fine--don't worry about "exact" paint schemes. Anyone who presumes to say that you got something about it wrong would be making a pretty tall statement.

Only thing I would've done would have been yo apply a lightened top coat to the DY. Weathering always darkens it up, and you should think about trying a lighter coat next time. Add about 20% DY to Buff or White and spray from above to get a lighter overtone on the top of the model. It really simulates depth and "scale size" a lot better in 1/35 scale.

Thanks Bish,I don't mind DS tracks at all,but every once in awhile I will spring for Fruils, and this was the limited kit,so I went for it

I was in two minds about the DS tracks. I normally replace all rubber band tracks with Fruil's, but thought I would give the DS a try. I use them on my panther for the Steel cats GB and wasn't keen. I reckon I will end up getting Fruils for this kit as well.

Well,I'm calling this one done.A real nice kit to work on,no issues of any kind.Painted in mostly Tamiya paints, weathered with AK and Mig products.I added an RB barrel and I sprung for Fruils for this one.Thank you for the looks, encouragement ,and comments, also any suggestions welcome.

My only suggestion is to remove 1 antenna from the hull. The hull could fit a  FuG8 or FuG7, but not both.

A decent-looking TIger, Tojo. I can't really tell from the photos, but the tracks look a bit uniform in color--did you weather the inside of them where those metal wheels would be grinding along on that steel? That's one thing I would look at for some improvement if you haven't done so. :)

That's a sweet looking build Tojo, glad to here it went together well.

Byrden is right about the antenna's, it should only carry the star antenna on the hull.
