Finished Dragon Wagon pics

Just awesome Chris, looks awfully great, I love the weathering. That dragon wagon looks great with the Stuart!

That seems to happen to me with every build Ed. I think it's got alot to do with the different angles that you get from the pics to. I usually try to get pics as go just to see if anything shows up, but there is still things that I don't notice until someone here points it out. Just another great thing about the forum, having lots of eyes handy.

if there is one thing i learned after i started taking pictures,
it's that the camera sees a lot that i miss.
maybe it's the magnification, or the lighting,
but i no sooner get the jpgs on my monitor than i say 'Crap! would you look at that!'

but the DW is looking tight.

LQ2 Looks great! I have to say just like everyone else the mud looks excellent along with the blown tire.

It does look awesome man! The pictures came out great! Please take note to all that replied. I can attest to this things weight. Seems to scale. Chris I was just thinking about a name for it. " The Loaf ".

Well that would be hopefully finishing my Marder III. Then I have a half-track with the quad 50's and a tracked motorcycle. After that, well the shelf would be empty except for a wingy thingy and a Star Treck something another. Getting about time for a sale at Hobby Lobby again ain't it?

Chris, great job on the Dragon. The mud's impressive, as is the blown tire. Better find some private to square that vehicle away before inspection! What's next on the building agenda?

Micheal- Yea I know the Stuart ain't the biggest tamk, but it's the only one I had handy and I'm not quite good enough on the crutches to try and carry a modela t the same time as walking to get another.

Ed- I noticed that glue stain too, of coarse it was after I looked at the pic myself. It's now on the list of other things to fix now. The mud on this one is already covering up stuff as well. Such as ejector marks on the window panels.
I think the shiney part is the lights. I just got some new brighter lights that I'm getting to learn, but they do make the pics better all around.
I did build this since I finished the Panther. Actually I bought the kit Jan 31 when I went to the show and had to put it down for about a week while I looked for the instructions that seemed to dissapear. I would say all in all it took about 2 weeks to build. But I do get to cheat some since I have nothing better to do all day but build since I can't work right now.

great work!
i like the detail w/ the cut and flat tire hanging in the spare spot after the change.

my only critiques are from the pic of the front end.
there is a discolored spot under the left headlight (the right side as it faces me in the pic)
that looks like it might be cement.
if it is, just a bit more mud around there will hide it nicely.
(believe me, the mud on my Panther and T-34 serves a purpose much like this!)
in the same picture, the I - beam looking pieces between the headlights
look a bit shiny. but that may be the wear you modeled into the edges & the lighting.
i have been fiddling constantly w/ my camera set up, lights, etc
because it was making my Panther look like it was washed in Future!

that's all the nits i have to pick.
a terrific job on a very big project!
