This represents the Mk IV British WWI tank that was captured by the German army. It's the female version, meaning it has machine guns but no cannons. The kit is made by EMHAR. Its a simple kit but has excellent details molded in such as the rivets. I painted it using Tamiya Acrylics and Enamel washes after the camo was airbrushed. It was a fun kit and I plan to do the male version eventually. This company also has the Whippet which looks cool. Anyhow thanks for looking!

holy smokes, that is one fine job you did there!
Awesome, that really does look like a great kit. Nice build Cody, love the paint.
That looks great! I keep hearing nothing but complaints about the kit tracks. What is your experience with those? The look real good on your build.

I've had that kit for years but haven't built it yet. Now I know how good it can look. Nice job!

Thanks All! As far as the track question, those tracks do appear bad at first. They are stiff black rubber and are in sections, 4 per track. I bonded them w/ CA glue so they are in 1 long piece (making them like any other 1 piece rubber track) and then used a minimal amounts of CA to bond them to the tank. Since its under the track you'll never see the glue. It keeps a tight and quick bond so you can wrap as you go around the tank. The track falls nicely into their grooves. As long as you keep them tight around the tracks they meet nicely and you cant tell where they are sectioned. In reality it isn't the best track setup but can turn out well if your patient. Why they just didnt make them in 1 piece.......I dont know!
Great work! I tried to build one of these years ago and had problems with the tracks too. Looks cooler in the German camo- I believe I read that the Germans used more captured tanks than they built of their own A7Vs.

I have to say that this is one of the most outstanding depictions of this model that I have seen in a long time. I'm further thrilled that you worked it up into such a fine representation by using the kit tracks! So many modelers have really given the modeling community that these tracks are absolutely un-usable that it's even made me paranoid about even starting this model until a reasonable (affordable) solution can be found. You've shown that sound, practical modeling methods can be used to make a real gem!
The paint is beautiful, and the model really "pops"! Now that I'm inspired, I expect that one of the major manufacturers will now put one out, now that you've shown how cool these tanks can look!
WELL DONE!!!!
Always love the look of these WWI beasts and you've done this one justice for sure.

Colors and building was done nicely.
