for the chipping effect i used the "salt technique" for the first time as a test. worked out pretty well. used a base color or Russian OD green and top layers of the Desert sand color and tried to highlight the chips a bit with a rust tone.
i just ordered a MENG IDF Merkava IIID with Mig Ammo IDF color set that'll be my next build. i want to either do a grassy muddy field dio , or a highway in Gaza dio , although i have no idea how to realistically make a "paved highway". anyone go any tutorials? or experience?
