KRUPP 4X6 WITH FLAK 37

Well waynec your now two up on my LOL, I don't think I have ever seen a protze in dunklegeld and camo, really cool. The gun really pops as well, wish I could put down my airbrush and go back to the tried and true method......I will.....maaaasssstttteeerrrr mmmmmmyyyy ........airbrush. looks great boss.

Shepard Pane described soaking tissue paper in watered down white glue to make tarps.

It works very well but you must be careful not to tear it especially on a corner, just drape it over or add the watery glue from the middle working out. It takes paint really well - kind of 'wicks' it up.

I like the look you gave the wood in the back of the Protze.  As previously mentioned, you don't see artillery and AA guns in the traveling configuration that often, it gives them another look all together.

A few details to consider:

The road had tracked vehicle imprints, the 6x6 truck and trailer would leave a mark in the soil / gravel.

Always like to see a person or two, some contests 'bump'  models with figures to vignettes or dioramas. If this is the case and you do not wish to compete other than for the vehicle then understandable leaving out personnel.

The 6x6 seems bare without stowed gear! The AM is always full of jerry cans, fuel drums, ammo crates etc a simple tarp over 'crates' would suggest stowed gear without breaking the bank on resin goodies.

for the tracks, they are a day after following an PZ-IV unit and the ground is hard (REALLY that was my thinking and i'm sticking to it)

for the people i agree. gives a sense of scale. i would add a couple and i would jazz up the terrain more but everyone is still seeing where IPMS base decisions are going.

right you are. stowed gear will come after i decide what category i want this in . also trying to figure out how to make a nice tarp and trying different techniques, obviously without success at this point.

some of these pieces look really different in travel mode. i did a soviet 122mm and an sFH-18 (but that was after i superglued the spades on the trails and before i knew what they were) that way. certainly cuts down the footprint. probably will continue to since it  presents differently.
