Very nice!  Someone did a similar project with a Tiger and it's displayed at the LHS.

CN Spots

Looks like they came up against an M4 Sherman with a plasma cannon.

Nicely done!

I was thinking it was up against an acid drooling creature from the movie "Alien" Surprise

I LIKE IT !

However, I'm showing my age as my first reaction to the thread title was an image of the 1966 Batman tv  "Robin" exclaiming : "Holey Panther !! " Stick out tongueWhistling

Thanks guys you're all too kind. This is not as difficult as one might think. Sure, it requires a different approach and paradigm but in the end it's no different from any other build. Other than taking longer than usual because of the extra steps, the biggest difference I noted was the expense of the interior sets which were not cheap. Regards, Mark

Yes, very nice work there- I've too thought about trying a cut-away but never had the guts to go though with it.

That's an awesome looking build there. I would love to do something like this, but not sure I would have the heart or the cuts to do it.

That is just WICKED COOL!

Great job, and I have to admit that I have one of these kinds of models in my own plans. Ya beat me to it! Great job though!

Wow Reserve, this looks awesome! I'm building this kit at the moment, but without any extras.

I'm always impressed by those modelers who can plan and execute a cut-away  model.

Thanks guys it was fun to plan and build Rob Sherman you are correct the cutouts were roughed with an ancient Dremel tool and then filed smooth. This, of course, was done before assembly Regards, Mark
