Here is my M4A1 I just finished for the Armor in the West GB.

It depicts a war weary Sherman trudging along in a field after the spring thaw.     Steve

I think I need a shower after just looking at that muddy beast!  Could you explain how you made the wet-looking, caked on mud?  Looks great!

VERY nice and involved project!  If I can offer one observation -- always be mindful of the lines of site for the crew.  If buttoned up, all they had were their periscopes.  The sandbags on your tank's glacis are too high for either driver to use his periscopes.  Just an FYI for future builds.  Keep up the good work!

Good point.  I was too busy getting the sandbags and weathering right to think about practical matters. I may have to look into removing a couple of sandbags to fix it.

Nice looking build there Steve. Its an easy thing to over look, but as Roy suggest, I would put it down to experience for next time.
