You and me both... Jim Wechsler teases me at AMPS meetings to ask if I have built any kits made in this century...

It helped when they finally divorced themselves from kits based on the Italeri M4A1/M4A3.
My hope is on DML for Lees or Grants. Their recent M7 Priest and Sexton shows how accurate they can make something on a M3/M4 (Sherman) platform which, to me, has greatly improved since they were churning out Shermans. I have the Dragon M7 Priest and it's fantastic. I've seen pics of the Sexton and it seems the same.
If that same design team gets the M3 Medium, I think we'll all be very pleased.
As for their competition from Taiwan, I happen to know that AFV Club will have some jaw-dropping releases in the future. Frankly they (and the other companies) outpace what I'm able to build. I'm years and years behind given my productivity level!!!!

I'm still waiting for someone to bring out a M3 Lee/Grant. I know Tamiya did one years back and I think Academy did one too but it would be nice to get an accurate one.
I've given up waiting for Dragon to finally bring theirs out but I'd like to see one from AFV or Meng

Terry, ye, I rather like the look of it as well. It seems as its already for sale in the far east, I have seen one on E-Bay. But I have just put one on backorder with Hannants, so hopefully will be released before to son.

Bish thats one awesome camo scheme, I think AFV does a fantastic job on their 251's.
I'm still drooling over the M60......

Thanks, Rob; that's what I thought! I believe I still have mine in the stash!
the doog Also, didn't Tamiya do a 251/9 years ago?

AFV Club and Dragon have also done /9's but in both cases they are the later Ausf D versions.
While my interest is only in German armour, it would be nice to see more of the less covered subjects.
I did a couple of Tamiya 251s back in the day. The old Hanomag 251/1 in high school or college and a much nicer 251/9 Kanonenwagen sent to me by a friend while stationed in Texas. The original got a spray coat of whatever Testors gray was available. The kanonenwagen remains 90% built waiting a paint booth day. Yes, unfinished around 20 years later.
Yes, about 20 years ago or so they did three kits based off of the basic 251 D chassis.
I really wish that Dragon or someone would get onto doing a line of the more obscure big US SPG's now, like the M55', M41, M37 and the M44 and the like.
Hummm...the M992 will be a welcome addition

The one I am doing now is my first of there's and I rather like it. I don't think I will even bother waiting to see if Dragon brings one out, but just snap up the AFV kit.
I really like AFVs kits. They are beautiful! Perhaps a tad bit over engineered, and their soft rubber band tracks are fragile in my experience. But that is great news that another gap is being filled.
I'd get one of those M60's

Don't see these posts on here often these days, but I just have to post this. As some may know, I am a bit of a 251 fan, with the /9 being my favourite. About 3 years ago, Dragon announced they would be releasing a /9 Ausf C and an Ausf A, but so far there has been no sign of them. Well, looks like AFV have finally taken up the challenge, at least on the /9.
I am sure there's some other kits here people might find interesting, but there is only one that caught my attention.

Well, that's any money I get for xmas spent, I found something on another site which says its due out in Jan. Finally I can complete the /9 collection. Anyone want to guess what will be on Dragon's new releases next year.
